The Raptor, by the paragliding manufacturer Airea, is the company's first attempt to produce a racing kite.  They first appeared in 1999 & have performed well in competition, winning the European buggy championship & dominating their class in this country.  These kites are very powerful & have a smooth flight with good turn rate.  However, like all high performance kites, they take a little time & practice to master.
     Some previous experience is recommended before buggying with the Raptor. This is not a kite for the beginner.
